Switzer was born on February 8, 2001, in the United States of America. She has spent a considerable part of her life in the US state of Delaware. Switzer, along with her two younger sisters, has been raised by her mother and her grandmother.

In the summer of 2017, she started living with her uncle and aunt in a town by the sea. About a month after she relocated there, she started working as a lifeguard at the beach and began meeting people in the area. On June 10, 2017, exactly a year before Laela’s birth, she met her father. They started dating in July, and by September, she was pregnant. When she gave him the news, he apparently informed her that he already knew as he had been afraid that she was going to leave him and was trying to get her pregnant. In her first YouTube video, Switzer acknowledged that she had been irresponsible, as she had not been taking birth-control pills. However, she also stated that she felt violated because he had forced her to make the biggest decision of her life. She had hoped that he would take responsibilities and face the same consequences, but they parted ways in November 2017. Laela Juliana Switzer was born on June 11, 2018. Switzer chose to name her after her mother’s best friend, who had died of leukaemia in 2015.

While she was pregnant, she stopped attending school and was home-schooled. During this period, she and Logan met. They met again about ten days after Laela’s birth. They started a relationship after Switzer went back to school. In April 2019, she found out that she was pregnant for the second time. Yasmyn Switzer gave birth to her daughter named Analia Rae together in December 2019. Yasmyn and Logan got engaged in 2020 and welcomed their daughter Millie-Isla Moon in November 2021. Yasmyn Switzer and Logan broke up in 2023.
