Whitney Alford Biography

Whitney Alford is an American licensed esthetician and make-up artist. She is the fiancée of multi-Grammy Award winner Kendrick Lamar. A native of California, Alford grew up in one of the most troubled neighbourhoods of Los Angeles County. She and Lamar met when they were both kids and attended the same school. In time, a friendship developed and that friendship later metamorphosed into romance. Lamar first gained recognition at 16, after releasing his debut full-length project, a mixtape titled ‘Youngest Head Nigga in Charge (Hub City Threat: Minor of the Year)’. Alford was there as the constant source of support and inspiration while he struggled as an artist before becoming one of the most influential musicians of the 2010s. Both of them are consciously private about their personal lives. He does not talk about it in interviews and she has a very minimal social media presence. Furthermore, Alford is working tirelessly to create her own identity away from the shadow of her boyfriend’s.
