Career
  • Oregon legalized recreational marijuana in 2015. This provided Tyler with the perfect opportunity to start a marijuana line. He started off by earning commission by finding marijuana growers a suitable piece of land to cultivate the plant. He soon got himself a license to grow medical marijuana and teamed up with fellow marijuana growers. One of his business partners and friend Fred Tamayo runs a three-acre pot farm that comes with a 6,000 square foot warehouse and two retail stores. This farm alone employs 25 people and the business is worth £3.5 million. The retail stores sell hundreds of products ranging from pre-rolled joints to pot-laced popcorn and cookies. Tyler also co-owns a legal cannabis business called ‘Royally Grown’ along with his mother, Tracy. With years of experience in the marijuana industry, Tyler is now an expert in working out complex lighting and watering systems to grow the perfect cannabis. He also earns a decent amount of money by lending his advice and tips on growing the desired strains. In mid-2018, he created a specially designed marijuana strain called ‘Markle Sparkle’ to mark his half-aunt Markle’s royal wedding.

Prof Murray added by saying that long-term marijuana smokers have an increased risk of developing schizophrenia or psychosis later in their life. However, Tyler has argued against marijuana being a gateway drug. He has also said that medical marijuana can save many lives as there are a number of marijuana products that do not contain the mind-altering chemical Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
