Sydney Brooke Simpson Biography

Sydney Brooke Simpson grew famous owing to her association with O. J. Simpson, her father. Her infamous father was one of the greatest American footballers of the 20th century before he fell from grace when he was accused of killing his wife Nicole Brown. Acquitted after a protracted legal process that has since come to be called ‘Trial of the 20th Century’, O. J.’s fame, unfortunately, never overcame the disgrace that the accusation plunged him in. Born in October 1985, Sydney was not yet nine when she lost her mother, Nicole, who was killed in 1994. The eight-month long trial that ended with her father’s acquittal was understandably a traumatic phase for both her, and her younger brother Justin Simpson. However, the young ones’ tryst with tragedy did not end with the loss of their mother. After his acquittal in the murder case, O. J. was subsequently sentenced to a 33-year-long jail term for his involvement in an armed robbery case in Las Vegas.

As the offspring of a disgraced American icon, childhood was not a carefree phase that it ought to have been for Sydney. Resolve has, however, been one trait that has defined her life. Seeming to shrug off the ordeal that marred her childhood years, she appears determined to create an identity for herself independent of her past. She studied at the Gulliver Academy and later went to the Boston university, graduating with a degree in sociology. This was followed by a brief stint as an events’ coordinator in Atlanta, after which she moved to St Petersburg in Florida. In St Petersburg, she initially worked as a caterer before moving on to the real estate business, wherein she has been greatly successful. Both Sydney and her brother Justin have refused to be drawn into the maelstrom of their father’s infamous trial and have not made a single comment on either their mother or father. Nicole Brown’s sister and Sydney’s aunt Tanya Brown is extremely proud of her nephew and niece, saying that she is expressly happy to see how grounded they are. Her friends and family have often praised her hardworking nature. In 2014, she opened her new business, Simpsy LLC, and continues to stay out of the limelight while leading a normal life.

Sydney Brooke Simpson was born on October 17, 1985 to Nicole Brown Simpson and O. J. Simpson. Her father was a professional footballer who later turned into an actor and advertising consultant, while her mother was a waitress. Sydney has a younger brother: Justin Ryan Simpson (born in 1988). Her step siblings are Jason Simpson, Aaren Simpson, and Arnelle Simpson. She currently lives with her three dogs in Florida and is rarely seen in public. Her younger brother and other siblings have decided not to comment or talk to the media about their father.
