Susan Sullivan is an American actress best known for playing the role of Lenore Curtin Delaney in the soap opera ‘Another World’ and of Dr. Elaina Marks in the TV series ‘The Incredible Hulk’. She is also known for appearing as Maggie Gioberti Channing in the soap opera ‘Falcon Crest’, as Lois Adams in the sitcom ‘It's a Living’ and as Martha Rodgers in the series ‘Castle’. The daughter of Brendan, an advertising executive, and Helen, Sullivan got her start as an actor in the 1960s with her first breakthrough role in the play ‘Jimmy Shine’. Since then, she has appeared in a number of plays, movies and TV programs. A graduate of the Hofstra University, Sullivan is known for her husky resonant voice. She is also adored by millions for her charming features, including her striking light blue eyes and beautiful natural blonde hair. Outspoken and intelligent, she is an artiste who injects depth into whichever role she plays. Sullivan, who is a well-grounded woman, is extremely humorous. Susan Sullivan began her acting career in the 1960s when she appeared in the Broadway play ‘Jimmy Shine’ starring opposite Dustin Hoffman. In 1970, she was cast as Nancy Condon in the series ‘A World Apart’. From 1971 to 1976, she played Lenore Moore Curtin Delaney in the soap opera ‘Another World’. During this time, she also guest-starred in a number of TV programs, including ‘Medical Center’, ‘McMillan & Wife’, ‘Petrocelli’, ‘Kojak’ and ‘Bert D'Angelo/Superstar’. Sullivan next had a role in the series ‘Rich Man, Poor Man Book II’.
In 1977, she played the role of a gynecologist in the TV movie ‘Having Babies II’. Soon after this, the actress got featured in the TV movie ‘The New Maverick’. From 1980 to 1981, she appeared as Lois Adams in the series ‘It's a Living’. After this, she joined the team of ‘Falcon Crest’ as Maggie Gioberti Channing. Sullivan next appeared in an episode of ‘Doctor Doctor’ in 1990.
From 1994 to 1995, she appeared as a recurring character Kathleen Rachowski in ‘The George Carlin Show’ and also joined the cast of ‘The Monroes’ as a series regular. Then from 1997 to 2002, the American beauty appeared in the sitcom ‘Dharma & Greg’. After this, she got featured in a few episodes of ‘Hope & Faith’. During 2006 and 2007, she played Nancy Hale in the series ‘The Nine’. After this, she was cast as Martha Rodgers in the TV drama ‘Castle’. Currently, Sullivan is filming her upcoming web series ‘The Kominsky Method,’ in which she will be seen playing the role of Eileen.
