On February 4, Kylie announced the birth of her daughter through a 'YouTube' video titled 'To Our Daughter.' She also mentioned the weight of the baby to be 8 lbs 9 oz. The video also showed a few never-seen-before clips that were clicked during her pregnancy.

Kylie also apologized to her social-media fans for her sudden disappearance. The revelation of Kylie’s delivery turned out to be a social-media extravaganza. Kylie’s 'Twitter' page topped the trending chart and triggered over three million "tweets." Her apology note and photo posted on 'Instagram' became the fifth most-liked post on the platform, earning almost ten million “likes” in less than 24 hours.

After the news of Kylie’s delivery became viral, the baby’s name became the next most-talked-about topic. On February 6, Kylie announced the name of the baby through an 'Instagram' post. The baby was named “Stormi.”

The 'Instagram' post through which the name was revealed soon took over the internet. The post’s popularity surpassed that of Beyoncé’s pregnancy photo and garnered over 15 million “likes.” However, some "tweets" made fun of the child’s name. Kylie and the whole Kardashian clan were mocked because Stormi’s name sounded like a weather forecast.
