Sharmarke set up his YouTube channel under the username ‘afcSharky’ on August 17, 2015. At some point, he omitted the first three letters to rename the channel ‘Sharky.’ He uploaded the first video on August 31, 2015. Titled ‘Forfeit FIFA #1 - Chilli FIFA vs Haseeb!’, it shows Sharky playing FIFA with a friend named Haseeb. The passing looks wayward in the video. His next video, titled ‘MR TERMINATOR #1 - Will Özil Go?!’, was uploaded on October 1, 2015. In it, he chooses the EPL team Arsenal and plays against Chelsea, West Ham United, and Crystal Palace. His first non-FIFA video was ‘The Worlds Worst Haircut?!!!’, posted on November 16, 2015. In time, he expanded the content of his videos even more and started making vlogs, challenges and pranks videos. Some of his frequent collaborators are Niko, AJ, and Chunkz.

These days, he generally receives hundreds of thousands of views on each of his uploads. Some of the most popular videos on his channel are ‘DIMITRI PAYET FREE KICK CHALLENGE!!’, ‘I Gave £100 To People If They Said This Word’, ‘I Told My Little Sister She Was Invisible & She Believed It.. *PRANK!*’, ‘I Said Yes To EVERYTHING My Best Friend Said For 24 Hours’, and ‘FIFA 17 - Mastering The New Free Kicks!!’

The oldest photograph on his Instagram was posted on October 29, 2016. It is a picture of Sharky himself from when he was a child. In the next picture, he appears alongside his friend and long-time collaborator Chunkz. On August 7, 2017, he posted a picture of himself wearing a Puma jacket inside a private jet. The first video he posted on the platform was apparently filmed by someone else without his knowledge. That video was put out by him on December 19, 2018. Despite having a significant following on the platform, he has uploaded only a handful of photographs and videos on it. In contrast, he is highly active on Twitter and posts several updates on the platform every day.

Sharky was born on December 31, 1995, in Utrecht, Netherlands. His real name is Sharmarke and he is the oldest among seven siblings. He presently resides in London, England and is an avid Arsenal fan.
