Sandra was born as Srboslava Blazic on April 14, 1970, in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Her parents, Slobodan Blazic and Nadezda Topalski, were born in Belgrade, the capital city of Serbia. Slobodan and Nadezda got married in Vracar before moving to the United States.

After graduating high school, Sibi Blazic attended the ‘University of Southern California’ and obtained a ‘Bachelor of Science Degree in Business.’

Sibi worked as an assistant for American film producer Jordan Kerner in the action adventure comedy film ‘George of the Jungle.’ The film had Brendan Fraser playing the eponymous main character. The film was produced under ‘Walt Disney Pictures’ in association with ‘The Kerner Entertainment Company’ and ‘Mandeville Films.’ Upon its theatrical release on July 16, 1997, the film became successful at the box office and eventually grossed $174.4 million worldwide.

Sibi continued working as Kerner’s assistant in the Jon Avnet-directed American mystery thriller film ‘Red Corner.’ The film had Richard Gere, Bai Ling, and Bradley Whitford playing important roles. ‘Red Corner’ had its theatrical release in the United States on October 31, 1997.

Sibi then worked as an assistant for Winona Ryder with whom she went on to develop a strong friendship. She continued working as Ryder’s assistant in the American psychological drama film ‘Girl, Interrupted’ which released in the United States on January 14, 2000. The film went on to become a commercial hit. Sibi was featured in the ‘New York Times’ bestseller cosmetics book ‘Face Forward.’ Written by American make-up artist, photographer, and author Kevyn Aucoin, the book was originally published on October 4, 2000.

In 2012, she worked in the stunt department of Christopher Nolan-directed American-British superhero film ‘The Dark Knight Rises.’ The film was the final installment in ‘The Dark Knight Trilogy’ of Nolan. ‘The Dark Knight Rises,’ which released on July 20, 2012 in the US and the UK, became a critical and commercial success as it grossed a whopping $1.085 billion worldwide. The film saw Christian Bale reprising the lead role of Bruce Wayne/Batman.

Recollecting Sibi’s role as a stunt driver in ‘The Dark Knight Rises,’ Christian said that she was driving a cop’s car, chasing him across the city. He also mentioned that Sibi could drive cars at high speed and perform stunts as well. He also went on to add that his wife terrifies him when she is behind the wheel.

Sibi married Christian on January 29, 2000. Sibi and her then-boyfriend Christian eloped to Las Vegas where an Elvis Presley look-alike officiated their marriage ceremony. Her father-in-law David Bale was an English entrepreneur and an animal rights activist. Her stepmother-in-law Gloria Steinem is an American feminist, writer, activist, journalist, and political leader. Her mother-in-law Jenny James was a circus performer. Sibi’s sisters-in-law are Erin, Louise, and Sharon.

While growing up, Christian Bale witnessed his father’s divorces and failed relationships. Hence, he became apprehensive about the concept of marriage at an early age. He even resolved to avoid marriage in his life. In one of his interviews, he said that he never had plans of getting married. He also said that his idea of marriage was quite bad.

However, he gained confidence in the institution of marriage after meeting Sibi in the mid-1990s when she was working as Ryder’s assistant.
