Gemma Christina Arterton is an English actress known for her roles in movies, such as ‘Quantum of Solace’, ‘The Disappearance of Alice Creed’, and ‘Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters’. She was born in Gravesend, Kent, in Greater London. She began her career after studying at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and made her film debut with a supporting role in the comedy film ‘St Trinian’s’. Soon after, she appeared in the spy thriller “James Bond” film ‘Quantum of Solace’. The film was a success commercially and was met with mostly average reviews.   • Gemma Arterton was born on 2nd February 1986 in Gravesend, Kent, in Greater England. Her mother Sally-Anne was a cleaner while her father Barry Arterton was a welder. She has a sister Hannah Arterton, who also became an actress.
