Soprano on HBO’s seies ‘The Sopranos’ for several seasons for which he earned numerous Screen Actors Guild nominations and awards. He is also known for featuring in the films 'The Tic Code' and 'Tadpole’. Iler began his show business career at the mere age of six after been discovered by the talent management firm J. Mitchell Management and immediately landed a part in a Pizza Hut commercial. He later took a break from acting to concentrate on his school education, eventually resuming his career at the age of ten with a role in his first feature movie ‘The Tic Code’ and many advertisements for several high-end brands and companies. A highly controversial actor, Iler was convicted of armed robbery as well as of marijuana possession in 2001 and received a sentence of three years' probation. He has also been frequently associated with underground poker clubs.

Robert Iler entered the show business at the age of six when he was discovered by Jeff Mitchell of the talent management company J. Mitchell Management on a street in Manhattan. He immediately garnered a commercial for Pizza Hut. He later went on to appear in numerous other commercials for AT&T, IBM, VH1, and ESPN. In 1997, Iler featured as a contestant on Season 4 of the game show ‘Oz’. Soon, he landed the role of Denny Harley in Gary Winick’s ‘The Tic Code’, a film that tells a story of a single mother, her son with Tourette syndrome, and their relationship with a musician also with the disorder.
In 1999, the actor joined the cast of the crime drama series ‘The Sopranos’ as A.J. Soprano. The show revolved around a mobster and the challenges he endures while trying to balance his personal life with his task of being the leader of a criminal agency. Iler next featured as a guest in the TV show ‘Larry King Live’ before starring as Charlie in the 2002 romantic flick ‘Tadpole’ alongside Sigourney Weaver, Aaron Stanford, Bebe Neuwirth, John Ritter and Kate Mara. The following year, he had a role in the superhero film ‘Daredevil’.
He featured in an episode each of ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ and ‘The Dead Zone’ in 2004. Following a role in the sitcom ‘Four Kings’ in 2006, Iler guest-starred in the TV shows ‘The View’ and ‘The Morning Show With Mike and Juliet’. In 2009, he featured as Chad Klein in the episode titled "Lucky Stiff" of ‘Law & Order.’ A year, he had appearances in ‘World Series of Poker’.
Iler had also appeared in the music video for Marilyn Manson's track "Dope Hat" during his early days. He had made appearances on ‘Saturday Night Live’ as well before earning recognition.

Robert Iler was born on March 2, 1985, in New York City, New York, USA, to Edward McGreevey and Helen Iler. He has two half-brothers, namely, Michael and Brian. He is of Irish descent. In 2005, the actor began the Atkins diet which eventually led him to shed 25 pounds.
