Controversies & Scandals

RiceGum had roasted 10 year old singer, Alabama Parker, (daughter of singer Travis Parker) in his video blog stating her actions were inappropriate for her age and criticized her upbringing and lifestyle harshly. Her father and step mother reacted instantly by getting this video removed from YouTube.

Another controversy cropped-up when video blogger, Gabbi Hanna, posted a video claiming that RiceGum had physically assaulted her and destroyed her cellphone. She further went on to post a video of the wounds inflicted by RiceGum on Snapchat. Strangely this tiff led to increase in numbers of her subscribers and decrease in number of RiceGum's followers. RiceGum accepted that he trashed the cellphone but added that the wounds were actually stretch-marks. The viewers have voiced that he could have dealt with the issue in a more polite manner and that he was too caustic. Although she has not filed a legal suit but has asked for the compensation of her cellphone. Further he has been banned from Twitch for showing a BB Gun in one of his videos.
