Ona Grauer is a Mexican-Canadian actress, known for playing the Ancient Ayiana and later Emily Young in ‘Stargate Universe,’ a sci-fi television program of the Stargate franchise. She is also known for voicing Veronica Deane Impersonator/ Katya Kazanova in FX's adult animated sitcom 'Archer'. Born in Mexico, Grauer relocated to Canada as a kid and was raised in British Columbia by her mother who worked as a caterer on the set of the TV series ‘MacGyver.’ Ona decided to take up acting as a profession, eventually kicking off her career in 1996. Since then, the talented actress has been giving spectacular performances in both small and big screen projects. As a film actress, she has acted in several movies, including ‘Deep Evil’ and ‘House of the Dead.’ She is a mother of two behind the screen.

Career
Ona Grauer made her acting debut in a 1996 episode of the TV series ‘Sliders’. From 1999 to 2000, she featured in two episodes of ‘First Wave.’ During this time, she also made her film debut in ‘Beautiful Joe’ as ‘Ariel’. From 2002 to 2003, she had roles in the TV dramas ‘John Doe’, ‘Stargate SG-1’ and ‘Black Sash’. The actress played Alicia in the German-American-Canadian action horror movie ‘House of the Dead’ in 2003.
In 2004, Grauer was cast as Katrina in ‘The Collector’, a supernatural drama series about a guy who strives to save those who have bargained their souls with the devil. That year, she also featured in an episode of ‘Stargate Atlantis’ as Ayiana. Two years later, she joined the cast of the crime drama ‘Intelligence’ as Katarina Weigel. Also in 2006, the actress played Sarah Louise in the sci-fi drama ‘Three Moons Over Milford’.
In 2009, Grauer starred as Emily Young in ‘Stargate Universe.’ The following year, she played the role of Abby St. James in the Canadian police drama ‘The Bridge’ and also featured in the flick ‘Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief’. In 2011, she started voicing Veronica Deane Impersonator/ Katya Kazanova in the adult animated series ‘Archer’. This was followed by her role in the series ‘Cult’. In 2015, Grauer played the character Jane’s mother in the sci-fi sitcom ‘The Whispers’. A year later, she portrayed Brooke Hanson in a Christmas movie titled ‘A Christmas to Remember’.

Ona Grauer was born as Ana-Margarita Grauer on November 16, 1975 in Mexico City, Mexico. She is of Hungarian, German and Norwegian descent. Her mother worked as a caterer on the set of the television show ‘MacGyver.’
Talking about her love life, Grauer is married to actor Aaron Dudley. The two first met as teenagers and later shared screen space in the episode ‘Rising’ of ‘Stargate: Atlantis.’ The couple has two children: a son named Cian (born in 2001) and a daughter named Maeve, who was born in 2005.
