Mili Avital first acted in the 1992 Israeli film ‘Me'ever Layam’. She then appeared in the American movies ‘Stargate’, ‘Dead Man’, ‘Invasion of Privacy’, ‘The End of Violence’, ‘Polish Wedding’, ‘Animals with the Tollkeeper’, ‘Kissing a Fool’ and ‘The Young Girl and the Monsoon’.
In 1999, the actress appeared in an episode of ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’. The following year, she did the American TV miniseries ‘Arabian Nights’. Then after appearing in an episode of ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’ once again, Avital got featured in the American movies ‘The Human Stain’ and ‘When Do We Eat’. Soon after this, she portrayed the character of Cordelia in Patsy Rodenburg’s play ‘King Lear’.
In the year 2007, she was cast as Miri Calderone in the Israeli flick ‘Noodle’. Two years later, she played the recurring role of Nurit Halvei-Zach in the Israeli TV drama series ‘Prisoners of War’. After this, the Israeli-American star appeared in episodes of American dramas ‘Damages’ and ‘666 Park Avenue’ in 2010 and 2012 respectively. Then she played the leading role of Dana Berger Fine in the comedy series ‘Landing on Their Feet’ in 2017.

Mili Avital was born on 30 March 1972 in Jerusalem, Israel, to parents Noni and Iko Avital. She studied at Thelma Yellin High School of Arts and later on enrolled at Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York City.
Talking about the actress’ love affairs, she was once in a relationship with David Schwimmer. After separating from him in 2001, Avital started dating screenwriter Charles Randolph who she later married in 2004. The couple has two kids, Benjamin and Fanny.
