Marco Antonio Slim Domit is a businessman and the second eldest son of Carlos Slim Helú, a Mexican business mogul, investor and philanthropist. Carlos Slim was listed as the richest person in the world between 2010 and 2013 by Forbes. Marco Antonio primarily manages the financial side of their family’s business empire. He currently serves as the chairman of Seguros Inbursa, IDEAL (Impulsora del Desarrollo y el Empleo en América Latina), and Instituto Carlos Slim de la Salud. He is also the director of Grupo Carso, Carso Global Telecom and Inversora Carso. He is an independent director at BlackRock, Inc. in addition to being a member of its board of directors.
