Lena Nersesian was born on June 1, 1991, in California, USA. She grew up in a conservative family where even ‘Boy Meets World’ was considered too gross. She attended the University of California. On her Facebook page, she talked about the time she spent studying in Sweden and working with children with autism.

In 2021, Lena became engaged to BMX rider Adam Grandmaison, better known as Adam22. The couple had welcomed their first child in November 2020 and later married in May 2023.
