Lee Jong-suk was born on 14th September 1989, in Seoul, the capital city of South Korea, to mother Lui and father Kim Jong- suk. His father had an accident when Lee was just three, and never fully recovered from his injuries. This caused a lot of trauma to the little boy. He didn’t communicate with people much, and used to be an introvert till he graduated from high school.

In 2005, Lee Jong-suk began his modeling career at the age of 15. He became the youngest male model to debut at the Seoul Collection walkway at Seoul Collection program for Seoul Fashion Week.
