Khabane Lame Bio

Khabane Lame, or Khaby Lame, used to work in a factory but he lost his job at the start of coronavirus pandemic. He launched his TikTok account in March 2020 and began spending much of his time creating videos. In the beginning, he posted dance parodies and random meme skit.  His videos now primarily focus on useless life hacks wherein people unnecessarily complicate simple things. Amongst his most watched video is the one wherein he reacts to a TikTok video of a person freeing himself from a car door by shearing through his t shirt. Lame, himself, simply opens the car door to get out of the situation. He does not speak a word in any of his videos; however, his sense of humour and deadpan looks have earned him a big fan following.

His TikTok account @khaby.lame has attracted over 112 million fans and his posts have garnered over 1.7 billion likes. With this, he has become the second most followed person on TikTok after Charli D'Amelio.

Khabane Lame has also amassed a huge fan following on Instagram where his account @khaby00 is followed by over 45 million people.

In December 2020, he worked as a model for the DLuiRepubblica magazine.

His merchandise, among other things, includes t-shirts, popcorn machine, charger, juicer and magic candle. He is managed by social media agency Iron Corporation.

Khabane Lame was born on 9th March 2000 in Senegal, West Africa. He has lived in Chivasso, Turin, Italy since the age of one.

He is a huge fan of football and is quite frequently seen wearing a football shirt in his videos. Juventus F.C. from Turin, Italy is his favourite football team. In school, he also played basketball. His favourite basketball player is the American player LeBron James.

His inspiration are Eddie Murphy and Will Smith and he aspires to do comedy like them. He also enjoys travelling and playing video games.

He is engaged to his girlfriend Zaira Nucci. He wishes to buy a house for his mother.
