Kevin Kimmel is an American actor and miscellaneous crew member. He has gained some popularity for lending his voice to a puppet version of himself in the series ‘Crank Yankers’. A native of Arizona, Kevin is the son of actor, comedian, TV host and television personality Jimmy Kimmel and his first wife, costume designer Gina Maddy Kimmel. He grew up when his father was still struggling to find a solid footing in the entertainment industry. He was featured several times, alongside his mother and older sister, on his father’s Comedy Central TV series, ‘The Man Show’. In 2004, he appeared on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Alive’. Besides acting, Kevin has been active in the industry in various other capacities. He has worked as a production assistant on the sets of ‘Tubbin with Tash’ and ‘The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail’. He has also served as part of the sound department on the sets of ‘Survivor’, ‘Last Comic Standing’, ‘Dance on Sunset’, ‘Big Brother’, ‘BrainSurge’, and ‘Tosh.0’.

  • Kevin was born on September 19, 1993, in Arizona, USA, to Jimmy and Gina Maddy Kimmel. He has a sister, Katie, who is about two years older than him. His parents were college sweethearts. They exchanged wedding vows on June 25, 1988, and subsequently moved to Seattle, Washington, where Kimmel was hired to be the co-host of ‘The Me and Him Show’ at KZOK-FM alongside Kent Voss. Katie, who was born during this period, has gone on to become an accomplished fashion designer. When the couple welcomed Kevin into their world, Kimmel was working at KRQQ in Tucson, Arizona. The family subsequently moved to Los Angeles, California after Kimmel got a job at KROQ-FM.
  • In 1997, four years after the birth of his son, Kimmel landed his first TV job, on Comedy Central’s game show ‘Win Ben Stein's Money’.
