Kala Lynne Savage is an American actress and musician who is best recognized for appearing on the TV shows ‘Santa Barbara’, ‘Undressed and ‘8 Simple Rules’. Even before she became a child star with her role as Anisa on ‘Santa Barbara’, her brothers Fred and Ben Savage had already established themselves in the entertainment industry as actors. Kala duly followed into their footsteps and joined the cast of ‘Santa Barbara’ as a recurring character. Next, she was seen in her brothers’ film ‘Little Monsters’ as one of the monsters. These two appearances proved to be her only projects as a child actress. After turning 21, Kala decided to become a professional actress and started appearing in a string of TV series, such as ‘Undressed’, ‘That 70s Show’, ‘Diagnosis: Murder’, ‘Felicity’ and ‘NYPD Blue’. Despite being part of many popular TV series, Kala was never cast in a leading role, and she continued to play only guest characters throughout her career. One of her major roles was in the comedy series ‘8 Simple Rules’, in which she played Lacy for three episodes. Her last screen appearance was on the American sitcom ‘Aliens in America’ in 2008, after which she has stayed away from acting.
