Jyoti Amge is an Indian woman who holds the record for being the smallest woman in the world, according to Limca Book of Records and Guinness Book of Records. She is best known as an actress for appearing as Ma Petite in the fourth season of ‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ in 2014. She was previously featured in the Channel 4 documentary, ‘Body Shock: Two Foot Tall Teen’ in 2009. In 2011, after her 18th birthday, she was officially recognized as the world's smallest woman by Guinness World Records with a recorded height of 62.8 centimeters (2 ft 0.6 in). While she beat the former record holder Bridgette Jordan by 6.2 cm, the record for the shortest woman in history is still held by Pauline Musters who was only 61 cm tall. In 2012, during a photo session for the 57th edition of the Guinness World Records, she got to meet the world's shortest man, Chandra Bahadur Dangi of Nepal. That year, she appeared as a guest in the Indian reality television show ‘Bigg Boss 6’ and also co-hosted ‘Lo show dei record’, an Italian TV show, along with Teo Mammucari.
