Aashika Bhatia is an Indian actress who first garnered attention with her role of young Meera in the 2009 NDTV Imagine's television serial ‘Meera’. She made her Bollywood debut in 2015 as Salman Khan’s onscreen step-sister Rajkumari Radhika in Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. Known for her ravishing looks and brilliant acting skills, Bhatia is one of the most talented young artists in the Indian television industry right now. Aashika Bhatia made her first ever on-screen appearance at the age of nine in NDTV Imagine's 2009 TV series ‘Meera’ as young Meera. Her performance was critically appreciated, eventually garnering her name and fame. In 2011, she was cast as Ginny Kaur Ahluwalia in ‘Parvarrish - Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi’. Her role as the daughter of a strict mother, played by Shweta Tiwari, brought her further stardom. The onscreen mother-daughter duo became so popular at the time that they were cast together in a ‘Clinic Plus’ shampoo commercial.
During her tenure in ‘Parvarrish,’ Bhatia also featured in two episodes of the crime thriller ‘Gumrah season 2’. In 2015, she made her Bollywood debut as Salman Khan’s onscreen step-sister Rajkumari Radhika in ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. In the film, she also shared screen space with renowned actors Anupam Kher, Sonam Kapoor, and Swara Bhaskar besides Salman Khan.
In January 2016, the actress played Meera in the episode nine of Bindaas’ ‘Sun Yaar Try Maar’. That year, she also joined the cast of ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’ as Nikki Dixit. The show premiered on Sony TV and brought her more recognition. Also in 2016, Bhatia began appearing in Rajshri Productions’ “Ek Shringaar- Swabhimaan”. Aired on Colors TV, the show was directed by Sooraj Barjatya. From 2017 to 2018, she was a part of the TV series ‘Vani Rani.’
Her accomplishments earned her a spot in sutraHR’s ‘top 20 young achievers in India under 20’ along with other artists like Avneet Kaur, Anushka Sen, Siddharth Nigam and Rajvee Gandhi.

Aashika Bhatia was born on 15 December 1999 in Surat, Gujarat, India. Her father, Rakesh Bhatia, is a businessman while her mother, Minu Bhatia, owns a beauty salon. She received her elementary education in a school in Gujarat and pursued further studies in Mumbai. Bhatia has an elder brother named Samridh as well as a young brother named Dev. Her parents are separated and she currently lives with her mother.
