Jules Asner became known for hosting several daily TV programs, such as ‘Revealed with Jules Asner’, ‘E! News Live’, and ‘Wild On!’ For her work in the interview show ‘Revealed with Jules Asner’, she was awarded with the Prism Award and the Gracie Award. She also worked as an entertainment reporter for ‘Good Morning England’ and also hosted ‘Liveby Request’. Previously, she had also worked as a segment director and producer on the now-defunct tabloid show ‘Hard Copy’.

As an author, her first novel was ‘Whacked’, which was released in 2008. The book became a “top ten fiction bestseller” on Amazon.

She has also worked as a screenwriter on several films by her husband, Steven Soderbergh, though she has preferred to stay uncredited. She had re-written the screenplay for the 2012 comedy drama film ‘Magic Mike’. The film was a huge success, and it earned $170 million on a budget of $7 million. It was met with positive reviews, and it earned several awards and nominations as well.

She had also written the screenplay for the 2017 heist comedy film ‘Logan Lucky’. Directed by her husband, the film was an average commercial success. Its critical reception was also mostly positive. The film was about the Logan family that plans to rob the Charlotte Motor Speedway and later tries to avoid capture by the FBI.

Jules Asner was born as Julie Ann White on 14th February 1968, in Tempe, Arizona in the US. She began modeling from as early as the age of 16. She completed her education from McClintock High School in Tempe. She attended college at the University of California, Los Angeles.

On 10th May 2003, she got married to Steven Soderbergh, a well-known film director. According to Soderbergh, his wife has helped him in developing some of his female character in his movies. She was previously married to a man named Matthew Asner from 1992 to 1996.
