There are records to show that DeAngelo worked at a distribution centre for the grocery store, ‘Save Mart,’ for over 25 years. He carried on his criminal activities for several years, without raising the slightest suspicion. Though he did not follow the same modus operandi, there were some factors that connected a single suspect to all the crimes. DeAngelo had the unique way of tying his victims, which led the officials conclude that the suspect had military connections.
