Joey Lawrence is an American actor and musician, best known for playing Joey Russo on ‘NBC’ network's series ‘Blossom.’ Lawrence started his career as a child actor and attained popularity by the time he was a teenager. When he was 18 years old, he was named as one of the ‘Most Beautiful People in the World’ by ‘People’ magazine. In 2005, he was named in TV Guide's list of ‘TV's 25 Greatest Teen Idols.’ Also, he was ranked 21 in VH1's list of ‘100 Greatest Kid Stars.’ Joey Lawrence is also known for his skills as a musician.   • Joey Lawrence was born Joseph Lawrence Mignogna Jr. on April 20, 1976, in Abington, Pennsylvania, USA, to Joseph Lawrence Mignogna Sr. and Donna. Lawrence, who is of Italian and British descent, grew up along with his younger brothers Andrew ‘Andy’ James Lawrence and Matthew ‘Matt’ William Lawrence.
  • He went to the ‘Abington Friends School’ in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania from where he graduated in 1994. He then went to the ‘University of Southern California’ in Los Angeles. Lawrence had started his acting career even before graduating from high school. His first acting role was in a commercial for the popular American snack brand ‘Cracker Jack.’
