Jesse Lee Soffer is an American actor who is best known for starring as Will Munson on CBS’ drama series ‘As the World Turns,’ for which he garnered three Emmy nominations. He is also known for appearing on NBC’s ‘Chicago Fire’ and its spin-off ‘Chicago P.D.’ as well as for his roles in the comedy flick ‘The Brady Bunch Movie’ and its sequel ‘A Very Brady Sequel’. Born in Ossining, Soffer moved to Tarrytown as a kid and later settled in Connecticut where he boarded at the private boarding and day prep school, The Gunnery. His acting career began at the age of six when he landed a role in a cereal commercial and eventually bagged a role in a feature film at the age of eight. Since then, the actor’s career has been on a steady rise. Besides being a talented actor, Soffer is also a very good soccer player. Since 2017, he has been in a relationship with actress Torrey DeVitto.
Jesse Lee Soffer started his acting career at the age of six when he appeared in a Kix cereal commercial. In 1993, he made his feature film debut as Dennis Loomis in the comedy ‘Matinee.’ A year later, he starred in the drama film ‘Safe Passage’ alongside Nick Stahl, Sean Astin, Sam Shepard and Jason London. Soon after, the actor was cast as Bobby Brady in the comedy ‘The Brady Bunch Movie’ in 1995. He later reprised his role in the movie’s 1996 sequel ‘A Very Brady Sequel’.
In 1998, Soffer played Taylor Donovan in the TV series ‘Two of a Kind’. The following year, he joined the cast of ‘Guiding Light’, the longest-running drama series on television in the American history, as a recurring character. He was next featured as Will Munson in ‘As the World Turns’, another long-running television drama. In 2007, the actor did ‘Gracie’, a sports drama film in which a young teenager overcomes the loss of her brother by requesting her school to allow her to play soccer on an all-boys team.
Following a role in the 2011 sci-fi action film ‘In Time’, Soffer joined the cast of ‘The Mob Doctor’. Since 2013, he has been playing the role of Jay Halstead in Dick Wolf's ‘Chicago,’ an action drama series. In September 2014, he featured in the second season premiere of the comedy web series ‘Talking Marriage with Ryan Bailey.’ The series stars actor Ryan Bailey as a talk show host who shares words of wisdom for sustaining a cheerful state of matrimony.

Jesse Lee Soffer was born on April 23, 1984, in Ossining, New York, USA, to Jill B. Hindes and Stan Soffer. He has four half-siblings: Shayne A. Hindes, Melisa Soffer, Craig Soffer and Jenna Hindes. As a child, he moved with his family to Tarrytown, Westchester County, New York and later settled in Connecticut.
Soffer boarded at The Gunnery, a private boarding and day prep school in rural Connecticut and graduated from there in 2003. He later took classes at the New York University (NYU).
Talking about his love life, he dated Sophia Bush, his ‘Chicago P.D.’ co-star, from 2014 to 2016. Following his split from Bush, Soffer started a relationship with actress Torrey DeVitto in mid-2017.
