He came up with a number of other such videos like ’10 Reasons to Hate Shopping’, ’10 Reasons to Hate Twitter’, ’10 Reasons to Hate Exams’, and ’10 Reasons to Hate Music Festivals,’ to name a few. On April 28, 2013, the YouTuber shared his life story via the video 'Draw My Life: JaackMaate'. In this vlog, he shared his life journey from being a middle school nerd to a reality television contestant to a successful full-time YouTuber.

With over 11 million views, this video is the most-watched video on his channel. The second most-watched video came out on November 11, 2017. In this video, titled 'ZOELLA'S £50 Advent Calendar | Honest, Brutal Review’, Dean has reviewed YouTuber ZOELLA'S infamous calendar. As of now, the video has garnered more than 4.5 million views.

In December 2018, he asked his long-term girlfriend Fiona South to marry him in a unique, romantic Christmas Day proposal. But, now they split up.
