Gzi Wisdom Bio

Gzi Wisdom started her social media journey by sharing a drawing of herself on Instagram on December 19, 2013. Her early posts were mostly of her cats, her “adventures” in Amsterdam where she was staying at the time, from musical events, and the occasional selfies. She started posting fashion pictures in early 2017 and often showcased clothes that she made herself as a model. Also a talented photographer, she sometimes took pictures of her friends and other models as well. She usually made lingerie type clothing and had even set up her own DePop store through which she sold her creations online. Throughout 2018, she shared several pictures of herself posing as a model for other photographers. Also in 2018, she released her debut single, Morning Sun, through SoundCloud, even though it was later deleted. She later started focusing on fashion and modeling pictures and also often posted pictures from her travels. Despite her personal achievements, she grabbed the attention of international media in 2019 due to her relationship with actor Thomas Brodie-Sangster.

Gzi Wisdom was born on April 29, 1996 in Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia, to Jade and Olli Wisdom, but was raised in England, United Kingdom. Her father was a popular Goa and psy trance musician from the UK who recorded under the name Space Tribe. He passed away on August 23, 2021. Since then she has made several posts in his memory, even though she rarely mentions her mother in her posts. She had posted a picture with her grandmother in July 2019. She has spent a lot of time in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, in her youth. She currently resides in Tottenham. She has had a number of pet cats and dogs.

While Who's Dated Who mentioned that Gzi Wisdom started dating Thomas Brodie-Sangster in 2016, she often posted fond pictures of fellow fashion designer Samuel Friberg on her Instagram during 2016-18. She had even referred to him as “my love” in several of her posts. In fact, she was still sharing pictures with him when Thomas first appeared on her Instagram feed in a Halloween snap posted on November 2, 2018. She then confirmed that they were actually dating by sharing a Valentine’s Day post with him in February 2019 which she had captioned “Romance and s - - t”. She continued to share pictures of him on her Instagram in the following months and accompanied him to The Gentleman’s Journal Summer Party in July 2019. The two made a rare public appearance together in Venice, Los Angeles in September 2019. They had a dinner date in Mayfair in February 2020 and later graced the red carpet at the Raindance Film Festival in October 2020. That year, the two spent the COVID-19 lockdowns together and also shot for the music video for British band Hotel Lux's track Ballad Of You & I, several pictures from which she posted on her Instagram as well. However, she stopped sharing pictures with him shortly after and even deleted their Valentine’s Day picture, while Thomas later sparked rumors of dating his co-star Talulah Riley in 2021.

Gzi Wisdom courted controversy on her very first public outing with Thomas Brodie-Sangster on Valentine’s Day 2019 at the Primrose Hill park in London. They were spotted by some of his female fans who were unimpressed by her attitude. They claimed that she was not only rude when they tried to take pictures with him, but even muttered abusive words towards them which left them crying. Their interaction was widely shared on his fan pages on Instagram, following which Gzi apologized and defended herself saying that she would never behave that way with his fans.
