Greg Davis Jr. is an American actor best known for his performance in the TBS sitcom ‘10 Items or Less.’ He was an immensely popular social media influencer prior to gaining fame as an actor. He started off his social media career as a comedian on the video-sharing app, Vine, and had accumulated around 4.3 million fans on his account named ‘Klarity’ before the app shut down. His growing fame as a Vine star motivated him to explore other platforms of social media as well. As an actor, he has been active since the mid-1990s. In the recent years, he has gained more prominence for his acting roles and is now well on his way to establish himself as a popular comedian in the American TV industry. He is known for playing roles in television shows like ‘Gullah, Gullah Island’, ‘10 Items or Less’, ‘SHFTY: Super Happy Fun Time, Yay!’, and ‘King Bachelor's Pad’. Greg Davis Jr. started his career as a comedian. He made his television debut in 1995, with the guest role of ‘Greg’ in the show ‘Gullah, Gullah Island’. In 1996, he appeared in a handful of television shows, mostly in special or guest appearances. These include: ‘Second Noah’, ‘The Cape’, and ‘Barefoot in Paradise’. He also appeared in ‘First Time Felon’ (1997), a drama television movie directed by Charles S. Dutton. After a break of almost four years, Davis returned to television with the role of ‘Niko’ in the action-adventure television show titled ‘Sheena.’
In 2004, he portrayed the character of ‘Terrell Davenport’ in one of the episodes of ‘CSI: NY’. A year later, he appeared in ‘The Shield’ as ‘Vasco’. In 2007, Davis appeared in the comedy-drama film ‘King of California’ as ‘Joseph.’ The movie also featured Michael Douglas and Evan Rachel Wood. He then played the role of ‘Donelle Williams’ in two episodes of ‘Lincoln Heights’ the same year.
Davis landed the most important role of his career so far when he was cast as the character, ‘Buck,’ in the comedy television series ‘10 Items or Less.’ He appeared in 21 episodes of the show. He then appeared in ‘Ghost Soldiers’ as ‘Davy’, ‘An Actor Prepares’ as ‘Davis’, and ‘Cru’ as ‘Young Richard’.
In the movie ‘Beyond the Lights’ (2014), he played the role of ‘Officer Aforo’ and later portrayed the role of a crazy wizard in the TV series ‘Oscar's Hotel for Fantastical Creatures’ in 2015. Between 2016 and 2018, Davis appeared in the television show ‘King Bachelor's Pad’ in five episodes.
