Gabrielle Anwar is a British actress best known for playing the role of Margaret Tudor in the series ‘The Tudors’ and of Fiona Glenanne in the drama ‘Burn Notice’. She is also popular for dancing a tango with Al Pacino in the flick ‘Scent of a Woman’. Besides these, Anwar has acted in a number of other TV series and movies as well. Her other acclaimed performances came in the drama series ‘First Born’, ‘Summer's Lease’, ‘The Mysteries of the Dark Jungle’, ‘John Doe’, ‘Press Gang’, ‘A Night Of Love’, ‘Prince Caspian and the Voyage of the Dawn Treader’, ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ and ‘The Practice’. Talking about her big screen projects, the British star was the part of the films ‘Pursuit of Honor’, ‘Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken’, ‘Body Snatchers’, ‘Things to do in Denver When You're Dead’, ‘The Three Musketeers’, ‘Long Lost Son’ and ‘Turbulence 3: Heavy Metal’. Gabrielle Anwar made her acting début in 1986 in the British miniseries ‘Hideaway’. She then appeared in the dramas ‘The Storyteller’ and ‘First Born’ in 1988. That year, she also appeared as Tina in the flick ‘Night Of Love’. Soon after this, she got featured in the series ‘Summer's Lease’ and ‘Prince Caspian and the Voyage of the Dawn Treader’. In 1990, Anwar was cast as Sam Black in the drama ‘Press Gang’. A year later, she did the miniseries ‘The Mystery of the Black Jungle’ as well as the movies ‘If Looks Could Kill’ and ‘Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken’.
Soon after this, she got the opportunity to play the role of ‘The Tango Girl’ in the film ‘Scent of a Woman’. From 1993 to 1997, the British actress did many small and big screen projects such as, ‘Body Snatchers’, ‘For Love or Money’, ‘The Three Musketeers’, ‘In Pursuit of Honor’, ‘Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead’, ‘Innocent Lies’, ‘The Grave’ and ‘The Ripper’. After this, Anwar did the TV films ‘My Little Assassin’, ‘Without Malice’ and ‘How to Marry a Billionaire: A Christmas Tale’.
In 2001, she got featured in the drama ‘The Practice‘ and the flick ‘Flying Virus’. Over the ensuing years, she did a number of TV movies including ‘Sherlock: Case of Evil’, ‘Try to Remember’, ‘Mysterious Island’, ‘Long Lost Son’ and ‘The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines’. In 2007, Anwar was given the roles of Princess Margaret and Fiona Glenanne to be played in the dramas ‘The Tudors’ and ‘Burn Notice’ respectively. The following year, she appeared in an episode of ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’. Then in the year 2011, she acted in the films ‘The Family Tree’ and ‘A Warrior's Heart’. Recently, she played Lady Tremaine/Victoria Belfrey in the drama ‘Once Upon a Time’.

Gabrielle Anwar was born on 4 February 1970 in Laleham, Surrey, England, to parents Tariq and Shirley Hills-Anwar. She attended Laleham C of E Primary and Middle School and then studied at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts.
