Eli Craig is an American-Canadian director, actor, and screenwriter. He is best known for writing and directing the 2010 comedy horror film ‘Tucker & Dale vs. Evil.’ The film was premiered at the ‘Sundance Film Festival’ and went on to gather positive responses from critics. The film increased Craig’s popularity as it received many nominations and awards at various film festivals and award ceremonies. Craig started his career as an actor, playing minor roles in films, such as ‘Deal of a Lifetime’ and ‘The Rage: Carrie 2.’ He made his directorial debut in 2004 when he directed a short film titled ‘The Tao of Pong.’ Subsequently, he went on to direct films like ‘Little Evil’ and ‘Zombieland’ (TV movie). Apart from acting, directing, and writing, Craig has also produced a couple of short films, such as ‘Fast Money’ and ‘Art Thief Musical!’

  • Eli Craig made his acting debut in 1999 when he was cast to play Kevin Johnson in the Paul Levine-directed romantic comedy film ‘Deal of a Lifetime.’ In the same year, he also played Chuck in the supernatural horror film ‘The Rage: Carrie 2.’
  • In 2003, he worked as an editor for a short documentary film titled ‘Intertwined Lives.’ The following year, he wrote and directed a short film titled ‘The Tao of Pong’ which marked his directorial debut. But it was not until 2010 that he became famous as a director.
