Dejah Lanay Bio

Dejah started her YouTube career in 2015 at the age of 10. Her first video was titled ‘Ask Dejah’ in which she answered the questions posed by her viewers. Shortly after, she posted her first review vlog in which she reviewed her newly purchased shoes.

Later, Dejah posted the second part of her first video. Her next video, ‘The Mom Tag’, featured her mother for the first time. Next, she started posting story time videos, and the first post in this series was titled ‘High Winds’.

Dejah then posted routine videos pertaining to her day-to-day life. Her video ‘A day in my Life’ showcased her visit to Disneyland. After a few days, she started posting haul videos. The first video in this series was titled ‘Mini Mall Haul’ in which she displayed the items that she had purchased from a nearby mall.

Dejah then started posting challenge videos and in one of the videos titled ‘Hot Cheetos Challenge’, she featured along with her brother for the first time. To date, she has posted numerous challenge videos like ‘trying baby food’, ‘hot Cheetos slime’, ‘bean boozled’, and ‘try not to laugh challenge’.

Dejah is famous for her video editing skills and her fans have asked her about her editing apps on numerous occasions. So, she posted a video on editing tricks and also a complete tutorial that explained how to master video editing.

One of her most popular videos is ‘White parents versus Black Parents’. She posted this video in three parts. Dejah also took part in one of the weirdest and most popular challenge videos, ‘hundred layers challenge’. To complete the challenge, participants were asked to cover their faces with any facial product. But the catch was that they had to cover their faces with at least a hundred layers of the product.

Dejah chose a clay mask and the challenge proved to be difficult for her as she was unable to speak after just a few initial layers. Dejah is also known for her videos in which she drinks water after mixing it with any given ingredient. Some of her videos under this section are ‘hot Cheetos water’, ‘warhead water’, ‘pizza water’, and many more.

She has also done un-boxing videos which have gained popularity over the years on YouTube. Dejah wants her fans to know everything about her. So, she has posted videos on every event pertaining to her life, no matter how personal or weird they are. She first posted a video in which she narrated her experience of wearing her braces. ‘My period story’ is the video that explains her struggle during her PMS days. She even posted a video on the day her braces were removed.

Dejah has always entertained her fans and her followers with her cringe-worthy and funny videos. People love her as she is natural and spontaneous in her videos. This is the biggest reason for her success.

Dejah Lanay was born on January 20, 2004, in Detroit, USA. She has four siblings. Dejah later moved to Ohio where she did her schooling. She then developed an interest in acting. Dejah actively took part in school plays. The play, ‘Romeo and Juliet’ which she performed is one of her memorable performances to date.

Dejah is a movie buff and likes to keep herself updated with all the new releases on Netflix. She enjoys watching animated flicks and her favorite animated film is ‘The Lion King’. She finds mathematics difficult and hence hates the subject. Her favorite computer game is ‘Happy Wheels’.

Dejah has many nicknames, given to her by her friends. Her most popular nickname is ‘Pizza’ as she loves eating pizza. Initially, Dejah was named Lauren by her mother as she was inclined towards the name. She also loves eating pineapple and peanut butter cookies. She loves pets and owns a cute pup.
