Christopher James Kendall, popularly known as Chris Kendall, is an English YouTuber who has gained fame for his channel ‘Crabstickz.’ He writes, directs, edits, and stars in comedy sketches for his channel, which he had launched in 2006. He is also an actor and has been featured in a number of BBC shows. He became well known for his performance in the Vimeo digital series ‘Oscar's Hotel for Fantastical Creatures’, which earned him a Streamy Award for Best Actor in 2016. He also earned critical acclaim for his appearance in ‘Funtime’, a Dawson Bros pilot episode that was aired on BBC Online. With a degree in theater studies, he creates interesting parodies of himself and others on his YouTube channel. He collaborated with a few of his fellow YouTubers and formed a YouTube league named The Fantastic Foursome.

Chris Kendall started his YouTube channel on August 21, 2006. It has garnered more than 683,000 subscribers and over 43 million views. He creates humorous videos, often parodying himself, and also develops a number of different characters like ‘Becca’, who now has her own series of vlogs.
Chris is a talented actor as well. He is known for his role as Oliver in the Vimeo digital series, ‘Oscar's Hotel for Fantastical Creatures’ in 2015. It was a British-American fantasy comedy web series created by Sophie Newton, PJ Liguori, Jamie Swarbrick, and Louis Grant. In 2016, he won the Streamy Award for Best Actor for his performance in ‘Oscar's Hotel for Fantastical Creatures’. Earlier, in 2013, he had appeared in the TV series ‘Ashens and the Quest for the Gamechild’. In the same year, he had appeared in ‘The Day They Came to Suck Out Our Brains!’
He was also seen as ‘Neil’ on BBC Three’s television series ‘Cuckoo,’ which also starred Andy Samberg and Greg Davies. He was cast as ‘Quentin’ in the second episode of the season two of BBC Two’s, ‘Watson & Oliver’. He also appeared as Leon in BBC Three's ‘Some Girls’. In addition, he contributed to the comedy series ‘Live at the Electric’ as a writer and a performer. In 2016, he was cast in a new online comedy called ‘Whipped’ with TomSka.
In the beginning of 2013, when Chris tweeted that he was leaving YouTube, it led to a major uproar among his fans. He soon posted a video called ‘Quitting YouTube’, in which he explained that he was not leaving YouTube but would upload videos only when he wants to, rather than creating videos daily. Besides making his own videos, he also collaborates with other YouTubers and makes mini web series or other videos.
On May 14, 2015, he posted a video in which he said that he was tired of being funny and would rather focus on vlogs for a while. In November 2015, he collaborated with TomSka and made some comedy sketches, which they posted on TomSka's channel.
As a YouTuber, he has been inactive lately. The last video he had posted was ‘My cat has died :(’ on February 28, 2018. Before that, he had uploaded the video, ‘Am I the 13th Doctor?’ on February 23, 2017. However, despite not being active on his own channel, he still makes appearances in videos by other YouTubers.

Chris Kendall was born on October 2, 1987 in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, England. During his childhood, he lived at a farm, and later moved to London. He has an undergraduate degree in theater studies.
He is good friends with some other famous YouTubers like KickThePJ, Danisnotonfire and AmazingPhil. Together, they formed a group called The Fantastic Foursome.
