Chris Kendall started his YouTube channel on August 21, 2006. It has garnered more than 683,000 subscribers and over 43 million views. He creates humorous videos, often parodying himself, and also develops a number of different characters like ‘Becca’, who now has her own series of vlogs.
Chris is a talented actor as well. He is known for his role as Oliver in the Vimeo digital series, ‘Oscar's Hotel for Fantastical Creatures’ in 2015. It was a British-American fantasy comedy web series created by Sophie Newton, PJ Liguori, Jamie Swarbrick, and Louis Grant. In the beginning of 2013, when Chris tweeted that he was leaving YouTube, it led to a major uproar among his fans. He soon posted a video called ‘Quitting YouTube’, in which he explained that he was not leaving YouTube but would upload videos only when he wants to, rather than creating videos daily. Besides making his own videos, he also collaborates with other YouTubers and makes mini web series or other videos.
On May 14, 2015, he posted a video in which he said that he was tired of being funny and would rather focus on vlogs for a while. In November 2015, he collaborated with TomSka and made some comedy sketches, which they posted on TomSka's channel.
As a YouTuber, he has been inactive lately. The last video he had posted was ‘My cat has died :(’ on February 28, 2018. Before that, he had uploaded the video, ‘Am I the 13th Doctor?’ on February 23, 2017. However, despite not being active on his own channel, he still makes appearances in videos by other YouTubers.
