Bryce Papenbrook is an American voice actor who is very popular among the anime fans for voicing young male protagonists in various anime series. He started his career as a voice artist in 2000 and since then has worked in over forty anime shows. He has also worked in three animations and two films in his career as a voice artist. Both of his parents are successful voice actors and thus it comes as no surprise that he too chose to enter the same profession. A very well-established professional in his field, he has worked for some of the biggest entertainment companies including the likes of ‘Animaze’, ‘Funimation’, ‘Studiopolis’ and ‘Bang Zoom! Entertainment’. He is also a trained martial artist besides being a voice actor and has been a kickboxing instructor at the House of Champions Academy of Martial Arts.

Career
Bryce Papenbrook started his career in 2000 voicing a small character in the anime ‘Trigun’ and waited for almost four years to land his second chance. In 2004, he appeared in the anime ‘.hack//Legend of the Twilight’, voicing the character ‘Shugo Kunisaki’.
Since then he has worked in more than 40 productions including ‘MÄR’ (voice of ‘Jack’) in 2007, ‘Noein’ (voice of ‘Isami Fujiwara’) in 2007, ‘Kekkaishi’ (voice of ‘Hiromu Tabata’) in 2010, ‘Vampire Knight Series’ (voice of ‘Hanabusa Aido’) in 2010, ‘Durarara!!’ (voice of ‘Masaomi Kida’) in 2011, ‘Marvel Anime: Blade’ (voice of ‘Edgar Frost’) in 2012, ‘Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan’ (voice of ‘Ryota Nekko’) in 2012, ‘Digimon Fusion’ (voice of ‘Bearmon’, and ‘Coronmon’) in 2013, ‘Durarara!!×2’ (voice of ‘Masaomi Kida’) in 2015-16, and ‘BlazBlue Alter Memory’ (voice of ‘Takamagahara’) in 2015.

Personal Life
Bryce Papenbrook was born on February 24, 1986, in West Hills, California. Both his parents, Debbie Rothstein and Bob Papenbrook, were voice artists who inspired Bryce to follow their path. He went to the University of California at Los Angeles and graduated from there with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
Bryce has been an athlete from his childhood and he has trained in martial arts for over sixteen years. He received training from the Chuck Norris system of ‘Tang Soo Do’ which is also known as the ‘American Tang Soo Do’. Initially he started his training under his personal instructor Steve Clark and later completed his fourth-degree black belt under former Chuck Norris black belt Dennis Ichikawa.
He has also taken part in over 60 kickboxing fights and is a three-time kickboxing champion. Later he became a kickboxing instructor at the House of Champions Academy of Martial Arts in Van Nuys, California after a successful career in the specific sport.
He married Samantha Papenbrook in a private ceremony and together they have a daughter Ella, who was born in 2015. Currently, Bryce lives in Los Angeles, California with his family.
