Brighton Sharbino is an American actress best known for her role in the horror drama series ‘The Walking Dead’. Her career began with a guest role in the show ‘Friday Night Light’, a drama series which was based on a football team in a fictional town. She continued to appear in guest roles in other series as well, such as ‘Hannah Montana’ and ‘NCIS’. She became well-known after she began playing a recurring role in the horror drama series ‘The Walking Dead’ in 2013. She played the role of Lizzie Samuels in the fourth and fifth seasons of the series. Meanwhile, she also appeared in two episodes of the crime anthology series ‘True Detective’. She has appeared in several movies as well. Her big screen credits include ‘The Death of Socrates’, ‘Cheap Thrills’ and ‘Miracles from Heaven’.   • Brighton Sharbino’s career on TV began at a very young age. She first appeared in a guest role in the drama series ‘Friday Night Lights’ in the year 2008. Two years later, she was seen in the popular comedy series ‘Hannah Montana’ in a guest role. She appeared in the short film ‘Changing’, as well as two other films, ‘Cool Dog’ and ‘The Death of Socrates’ in 2010.
  • In the early 2010s, she continued to appear in TV shows such as ‘Prime Suspect’ and ‘The New Normal’ in guest roles. She came to popularity with her role of Lizzie Samuels in the fourth and fifth seasons of the well-known horror series ‘The Walking Dead’ (2013-15). The show revolved around a man named Rick Grimes, who, after awakening from a coma, finds himself in a world overrun with zombies. He reunites with his family, and forms a group with other survivors in their collective struggle for survival. The show was much appreciated by the critics. It earned several awards and nominations as well. Meanwhile, she also appeared in the anthology crime series ‘True Detective’ in 2014.
  • In 2012, she appeared in the film ‘Promesas’. The next year, she appeared in the black comedy thriller ‘Cheap Thrills’ which was directed by E. L. Katz. The film premiered at the Boston Underground Film Festival. It was a commercial failure though reviews were mostly positive. In 2015, she acted in ‘Growing up Smith,’ where she played an important role. The film was directed by Frank Lotito.
  • In the movie, ‘Christmas in the Heartland,’ which was released in 2017, she portrayed Jessie. The film was about the lives of two teenage girls, Kara and Jessie, who hail from two completely different worlds. The next year, she appeared in the film ‘Urban Country’, in the lead role. The film was about a troubled girl, who has to choose between the city life and the country life.
