Aviva Mongillo Biography

Aviva Mongillo is a Canadian actress and singer known for her breakout performance as Alya Kendrick in the Canadian drama series ‘Backstage’. ‘Don’t Talk to Irene’ is one of her other noteworthy works. A newcomer to the entertainment industry, she has already made a considerable impression due to her singing talent and acting chops. Being very shy initially, she was persuaded by her teachers to open up to new experiences and auditions. Music entered her life when she was only ten. She realized she really loved singing after attending a karaoke party and being convinced by friends that she could sing. Aviva had already started taking guitar lessons at the age of 12. Her true passion, however, remains acting. The young actress is friends with her co-stars from ‘Backstage’ including Josh Bogart, Devyn Nekoda, and Alyssa Trask. She also posts covers of songs on her YouTube channel featuring other YouTube musicians and she is one of the fastest rising musicians on ‘Spotify’ Canada.
