Career
Asian Doll started her career in music when she was in her school. It all began when one of her classmates recorded the rap that she had composed on her own. Not only her classmates, but the entire school was soon humming it and its popularity spread like wildfire.
This encouraged her to shift her focus towards her newly found talent. By the time she reached high school, she had made her career decision. But she faced many obstacles through her parents who were not supportive of her choice. Her father was dead set against her career choice as he wanted her to focus on her studies in order to choose a secured career option.
But Asian Doll was firm in her decision and followed her heart. She dropped out of high school and decided to dedicate all her time to music. Asian Doll commenced her music career by releasing her album ‘Rise of Barbie Doll Gang’. The album was released on December 16, 2015.
In 2016, Asian Doll released another album titled ‘Drippin in Glo’. The album became quite popular and was well-received by her fans. By the end of the year, she released ‘Project Princess Vol. 1’. Her rising popularity caught the attention of Lil Mister, a rapper who became famous for his single ‘Chiraq State of Mind’. He then approached Asian Doll and collaborated with her in many of his projects. Since then, the artist has served as a producer for many of Asian Doll’s albums and extended plays. In 2017, she came up with two more albums. She first released the album ‘Outtaspace’ and by August, she released the second album of the year, ‘Kill Bill, Vol. 1.’
