Ashley Cain is an English TV personality, model, and former football player. He played for Coventry City Football Club which competes in the English Football League Championship. He also had successful loan spells for teams like Oxford United and Luton Town. Ashley Cain came into prominence when he started appearing on MTV’s reality TV series Ex on the Beach. He then went on to compete in the 33rd season of the popular MTV reality competition show The Challenge. Thanks to his good looks and muscular physique, Ashley Cain has also modeled for popular brands like The Couture Club and Kalibre Clothing.

Early Life & Career

Ashley Cain was born on 27 September 1990, in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England. He developed an interest in football during his childhood and started playing the sport during his school days. He then decided to pursue a career in football and signed a one-year contract with Coventry City Football Club in July 2007. He made his professional debut on 13 April 2009 when he played as a substitute for Coventry City Football Club in a Football League Championship match against Charlton Athletic Football Club which ended in a goalless draw. After putting up an impressive performance in his debut game, Ashley Cain was given an opportunity to start for the club in a League Cup match against Hartlepool United on 12 August 2009.

On 26 November 2009, Ashley Cain was loaned out to Luton Town Football Club with which he signed a one-month loan agreement. He just made one substitute appearance for the club against Chester City in a goalless draw. On 19 February 2010, he was loaned out to Oxford United against whom he had scored a hat-trick in a mid-season friendly. In April 2010, he had a trial with Port Vale Football Club which competes in the English Football League Two. After the end of the 2009–10 season, Ashley Cain was released by Coventry City. On 26 July 2010, he was signed by Mansfield Town where he established himself halfway through the season.

On 22 June 2011, Ashley Cain signed a contract with Tamworth Football Club which competes in the Southern League. On 18 November 2011, he was once again loaned out to AFC Telford United. In January 2012, he signed a contract with AFC Telford United after he was released by Tamworth FC. However, he did not last long in the club as he was released by Telford in May 2012. In June 2012, he signed a contract with the Romanian professional football club CS Gaz Metan Mediaș after completing a successful trial period. Unfortunately, he suffered an injury to his right Achilles tendon during his first match for the club. The injury kept him out throughout the season, forcing him to return to England to recuperate. The injury also ended his contract with the club.

After recovering from the injury, Ashley Cain joined Bedworth United in 2013. During his 10 appearances, he managed to score a goal for the club. The same year, he was released by Bedworth United FC and joined Coventry Sphinx Football Club. He had a wonderful season with the club as he managed to score six goals in his 18 appearances. In 2013, he joined Barwell Football Club before re-joining Coventry Sphinx in 2014. Apart from football, Ashley Cain is also interested in boxing and bodyweight training. Over the years, he has also established himself as a model and TV personality. He is also a social media influencer with millions of followers on various platforms.

Ashley Cain became a household name in the United States of America when he took part in the popular reality TV series Ex on the Beach, which established him as a TV personality. His popularity increased when he competed in The Challenge: War of the Worlds, the 33rd season of the popular reality TV game show The Challenge. Personal Life

Ashley Cain is in a long-term relationship with his partner and hairstylist Safiyya Vorajee. On 10 August 2020, the couple was blessed with a daughter whom they named Azaylia Diamond Cain. Unfortunately, Azaylia was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of leukemia. In order to raise money for her treatment in Singapore, Cain and Safiyya started a fundraising campaign online, which raised over £1.5 million. Despite all the efforts, Azaylia passed away on 24 April 2021. Although heart-broken, Ashley Cain stated that he and his partner would continue the fundraising campaign and start a charity in memory of Azaylia to fight childhood cancer.
