Andrea Thompson is an American actress best known for her appearances on the TV shows ‘Falcon Crest’, ‘24’ and ‘Babylon 5’. She is also known for her voice work in many films and TV shows. Born in Dayton, Ohio, she grew up alongside three siblings. At the age of six, she moved with her family to Australia. Following graduation from high school and travelling the world for five years, Thompson moved to New York to pursue a career in modeling. A successful modeling career paved her way for acting. After studying acting at Strasberg Studio and Herbert Berghof Studios, she began her professional acting career. From doing voice work as a guest in the beginning to becoming a successful actress in her own right, she has come a long way. Her unique voice and brilliant acting skills inspire many young talents in the show business. Married and divorced twice, she is the mother of two children.

Two years later, she joined the cast of the sci-fi drama ‘Babylon 5’ as telepath Talia Winters. She left the drama at the end of season 2.Thompson moved on to join the cast of the legal drama ‘JAG’ as Commander Alison Krennick. The recurring role she played between 1996 and 2004 earned her appreciation from the masses. Also in 1996, she was cast as Detective Jill Kirkendall in the crime drama series ‘NYPD Blue’. She left the show in 2000 to pursue a career in journalism. However, the actress made a comeback to acting in 2003 with a recurring role in the series ‘24’.
