Alexia Fast is a Canadian actress, singer and model who began writing, directing and acting in short films when she was just seven. Being born to a film producer mother and singer father, she is equally talented in acting and singing. She made her film debut with the zombie comedy 'Fido', and won her first 'Leo Award' for her performance in the telefilm 'Past Tense' at 13. Three years later, she earned another 'Leo Award' for her role in the psychological thriller 'Repeaters'. Early on in her career, she worked in high-profile films such as 'Hungry Hills', 'Blackbird', 'Jack Reacher' and 'The Captive'. On television, she had main roles on series like 'Kaya' and 'Manhattan', apart from guest roles on 'The 4400', Tin Man', 'The Secret Circle', 'Red Widow' and 'Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency'. Over the course of her decade-long career so far, she has worked in about a dozen telefilms as well.

Rise to Stardom
Alexia Fast was only seven years old when she wrote, directed, and starred in a short film titled 'The Red Bridge', which premiered at the 2002 Atlantic Film Festival and Reel to Reel Film Festivals. She gained her first agent at the age of 11, and subsequently begun to appear on television and in films. Her first television appearance was in the telefilm 'His and Her Christmas' in 2005. The next year, she made her feature film debut as sassy, gun-wielding Cindy Bottoms opposite Carrie Anne Moss in the zombie comedy film 'Fido', which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and Sundance. That year, she also appeared in the lead role of Sara Shay in the made-for-television movie 'Past Tense' which, at the age of 13, earned her the first 'Leo Award' of her career for 'Best Lead Performance by a Female in a Feature Length Drama'.
In 2007, she played the younger version of the character played by Maria Menounos in comedy film 'Kickin It Old Skool'. Alexia, who previously had recurring roles in the series 'The 4400' and Tin Man', was cast in the main role on the MTV TV series 'Kaya' in 2007. In the following years, she continued to appear on telefilms such as 'The Party Never Stops: Diary of a Binge Drinker', 'Left Coast', 'Gym Teacher: The Movie', and 'The 19th Wife', and made guest appearance on the television series 'Flashpoint'. She was part of the cast in the indie western 'Hungry Hills' in 2009. In 2010, she bagged the supporting role of Charlotte Halsted in the Canadian indie psychological thriller film 'Repeaters', for which she received her second 'Leo Award' in the category 'Best Supporting Performance by a Female in a Feature Length Drama' in 2011.

Later Career
In 2010, Alexia Fast was cast in the lead role of Eve Spalding in the drama-thriller 'Triple Dog'. She had a recurring role in the supernatural teen drama 'The Secret Circle' in 2012. Also that year, she got the opportunity to work alongside Tom Cruise and Rosamund Pike in the action-thriller film 'Jack Reacher', and had a main role in the award winning drama film 'Blackbird'. In 2014, she played Cassandra Lane in the thriller film 'The Captive' and made guest appearances on the television drama 'Red Widow' and the police procedural series 'Motive'. That year, she also portrayed the main role of Callie Winter on the drama series 'Manhattan', and returned as a guest cast for the second season in 2015. Recently, she had a recurring guest role on 'Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency' (2017) and appeared in the horror-thriller film 'The Ninth Passenger' (2018).

Her mother was nominated for a 'Leo Award' in the category 'Best Short Drama' for 'Just Smile and Nod' in 2005 and for a 'Gemini Award' in the category 'Best Children's or Youth Fiction Program or Series' for 'Spirit Bear: The Simon Jackson Story' in 2007. Her parents are separated, and her mother had previously married Milan Zivkovic in October 2005, but they have since then divorced. Alexia Fast attended Thompson Rivers University in British Columbia, Canada. She can fluently speak in English and French.
Relationships
While her relationship status was not known at the time, Alexia Fast had mentioned a past relationship during her 'The 2012 Esquire Elf' interview with the magazine. In April 2016, she sparked same-sex relationship rumors after posting intimate pictures with a woman named Cat Wintour, with captions such as "Love Fest with @catnisswinter" and "Me and my woman @catnisswinter".
