Fatima Whitbread is a British former athlete who specialized in the Javelin throw. At the 1986 European Championships, Whitbread broke the world record in the qualifying round before winning the gold medal in the finals. She also has an Olympic silver and an Olympic bronze under her belt. A popular athlete, Whitbread also won the 1987 World Championships in Rome.

Tapio Rautavaara was a Finnish singer, actor, and athlete. He is best remembered for winning the gold medal in the javelin throw event at the 1948 Olympic Games in London. A former world champion, Rautavaara also won a bronze medal at the 1946 European Championships in Oslo. As a musician, Rautavaara is credited with inspiring other musicians like Ville Valo.

Kelsey-Lee Barber is an Australian track and field athlete. She competes in the javelin throw and won the gold medal at the 2019 World Championships. She won bronze in the final at the 2020 Summer Olympics. She has set a personal best of 67.70 meters. Her training partner is para-athlete Jayden Sawyer. She is married to coach Mike Barber.







Tatsiana Khaladovich is a Belarusian athlete who specializes in the javelin throw. At the 2016 European Championships in Amsterdam, Khaladovich won the gold medal and recorded her personal best in the process. She also competed at the 2016 Olympics where she placed fifth. Khaladovich also participated at the 2019 European Games where she helped her team win a silver medal.
