Mexican-American actress, producer and director, Eva Longoria gained global recognition after portraying Gabrielle Solis in the ABC’s hit series Desperate Housewives. Prior to this, she was also a part of the popular series, The Young and the Restless. A multitalented personality, Eva has also been a face of L'Oreal Paris, has written a cookbook and participates in numerous philanthropic activities.

Mexican-American ESPN sportscaster Antonietta Collins had begun her career as a production assistant at Univision, graduating to being a news reporter and then a sports reporter, covering events related to the NBA and the MLB. Daughter of award-winning journalist Maria Antonieta Collins, she was previously a budding soccer player, too.

Alexis Amore is a Peruvian feature dancer, pornographic actress, and columnist. Best known for appearing in lesbian pornographic films, Amore has received a couple of NightMoves Awards. In 2018, she was inducted into the Urban X Award Hall of Fame and AVN Award Hall of Fame. Alexis Amore has also contributed as a columnist for a Peruvian magazine named Oye.           

Alon Abutbul is an Israeli actor. He attended the Thelma Yellin High School of Arts and started acting soon after his graduation. After appearing in minor roles in many films, he finally bagged a major role in the film Shtei Etzbaot Mi'Tzidon. He acted in several hit films in the ensuing years and is the recipient of many awards. 

Jacinto Benavente was one of the foremost Spanish dramatists of the 20th century. The son of a popular pediatrician, he developed an early interest in literature but was expected to pursue a more conventional professional. He began studying law but abandoned it to become a dramatist. He received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1922. 

Born in Mexico, boxer Martha Salazar moved to the US at age 9. Initially a star college basketball player, she switched to boxing after being attacked on the street. Starting with kickboxing, she later trained in boxing. Nicknamed The Shadow, she became the third Hispanic to win a World Heavyweight championship.

Carmen Martín Gaite graduated with romance philology when it was rare for women to attend universities. The Premio Nadal-winning author is best remembered for her iconic works such as Entre visillos and El balneario. She was also one of only two female Spanish Royal Academy members back in her time.

Guadalupe Rodríguez is a Puerto Rican socialite best known as the mother of the popular actress and singer, Jennifer Lopez. Rodríguez hogged the limelight when she was featured in the HBO concert film Jennifer Lopez: Dance Again. She also played an important role in a healthcare campaign called YourMomCares, which was organized by the Barack Obama administration in 2014.
