






Serbian volleyball player Tijana Boskovic was 15 when she joined the Serbian junior team. Apart from an Olympic silver and bronze, she has also won both the World Championship and the European Championship twice. She has also played for the Turkish club Eczacıbaşı VitrA and the Serbian club ŽOK Partizan Vizura.


One of the greatest volleyball players in history, Lang Ping gained the name Iron Hammer. The former Olympic gold medalist now coaches the Chinese national women’s volleyball team. Her story was one of the many featured in the Chinese sports movie Leap, which traced the country’s women’s volleyball history.





Karch Kiraly is an American volleyball coach and broadcast announcer. A former player, Kiraly helped the U.S National Team win gold medals at 1984, 1988, and 1996 Olympics. Kiraly is the only player to have won gold medals in both beach volleyball and indoor Olympic categories. He is currently serving as the head coach for the US women's volleyball team.




Japanese volleyball player Yuji Nishida now represents the Italian club Volley Callipo. Inspired to take up the game by his elder siblings, he joined JTEKT Stings at age 17. He also represented Japan in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Of his numerous awards, one of the most notable is the Japanese V.League MVP.
