Shanola Hampton is an American actor, best known for her role as ‘Veronica Fisher’ in the Showtime dramedy ‘Shameless.’ Hampton started her career with the TV series ‘Electra Woman and Dyna Girl’ in 2001. She has since worked in both films and the television. She has acted in several TV series, such as ‘Criminal Minds,’ ‘Miami Medical,’ ‘Reba,’ ‘Related, ‘and ‘Scrubs.’ Hampton served as the face model for one of the main characters, Rochelle, in the post-apocalyptic video game ‘Left 4 Dead 2.’ She is married to producer Daren Dukes since 2000 and lives in Los Angeles along with her husband and two children.

Shanola Hampton was born on May 27, 1977, in Charleston, South Carolina, US, to Gralin N. Hampton and Anne Hampton. As her father was a pastor, she used to sing in church choirs as a kid. Hampton is of Afro-American origin.
Hampton attended the ‘Summerville High School.’ She later graduated from ‘Winthrop University’ with a degree in theatre and earned a ‘Masters of Fine Arts’ in Acting from the ‘University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.’ He worked at the ‘Goose Island Brewery,’ Wrigleyville, during this period.

Hampton began her acting career at the age of 24.
Shanola Hampton started as a theatre actor, playing in the musical ‘Gift’ at the ‘Tiffany Theatre’ in Hollywood, in 2000.
The following year, she appeared in the television series ‘Electra Woman and Dyna Girl,’ playing the character of ‘Daisy.’ She also appeared in the sitcom ‘Reba,’ which aired on the WB. Shanola was seen in the episode ‘The Steaks are High.’ The same year, she also appeared in an episode of the teenage comedy-drama ‘Popular.’
Between 2002 and 2004, Hampton made guest appearances in the medical drama ‘Strong Medicine’ (2002), NBC’s ‘Scrubs’ (2004), and The WB’s ‘Pepper Dennis’ (2006). She starred infour episodes of ‘Related’ as ‘Flash’ (2005-2006) and in six episodes of ‘Miami Medical’ (2010) as nurse ‘Graceffa.’
