Seth Rollins is an American professional wrestler. He performs professional wrestling in WWE under the RAW brand. He started his professional wrestling career in 2003 and his WWE career in December 2010. While his billed height is 6 feet 1 in, his billed weight is 217 pounds. He has been the WWE Heavyweight Champion twice. Other than this, he has won many competitions in WWE RAW. Seth Rollins is known for his masculine look with long hair and dark brown eyes. Seth Rollins was born Colby Daniel Lopez on 28 May 1986, in Buffalo, Iowa, USA. He has American, German, and Irish ancestry.
His surname Lopez comes from his stepfather who has a Mexican-American descent. His ring name is Seth Rollins. Part of his ring name is a tribute to Henry Rollins, the famous former ‘Black Flag’ singer. Colby is a huge fan of Henry Rollins.
Colby was an introvert during his early days. He had a normal life before beginning his wrestling career. He loved rock music since his childhood.
He graduated from ‘Davenport West High School’ in 2004. He trained at a wrestling school in Illinois.

Career
Colby’s wrestling career started in 2005 when he wrestled under the ring name Gixx. He then joined ‘Independent Wrestling Association Mid-South’ and entered the ‘Ted Petty Invitational Tournament.’ He was eliminated in the QFs by Matt Sydal on September 23, 2005.
Later, he joined ‘NWA Midwest’ and teamed up with Marek Brave. The duo won the tag team championship and went on to defend the title successfully.
He made brief appearances in ‘TNA Wrestling,’ ‘Full Impact Pro,’ and ‘Pro Wrestling Guerilla.’
He became known as Tyler Black and soon became part of the ROH (Ring of Honor) along with teammates Jimmy Jacobs and Necro Butcher. In 2007, they won the ‘ROH Tag Team Championship.’ After losing to the then popular wrestler McGuiness, Jacobs broke the partnership with Colby (Tyler). In June 2008, Tyler defeated Jimmy Jacobs in a steel cage match.
In September 2009, he defeated several wrestlers like Chris Hero, Colt Cabana, and Austin Aries to win the ‘ROH World Championship.’ He defended his title seven consecutive times before losing it to Roderick Strong in 2010.
In 2010, Colby joined WWE under the ring name Seth Rollins. He defeated Trent Barreta in his debut match. On January 13, 2011, he won the ‘FCW 15 Championship.’
After getting involved in a feud with Dean Ambrose, Rollins fought him in three consecutive matches. In the final match, he won against Dean by pinning him. Later, he lost his title to Damien Sandow as Ambrose intervened to beat up Sandow, thereby disqualifying Rollins.
He was featured in John Cena’s gym video and won the ‘FCW Heavyweight Championship.’ Later, when FCW was transformed to NXT, he won the ‘Gold Rush Tournament’ by defeating Jinder Mahal in the finals.
Rollins appeared alongside Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, and attacked Ryback to allow CM Punk pin John Cena. The trio started calling themselves ‘The Shield.’ It was later revealed that CM Punk had quietly associated himself with ‘The Shield.’

‘The Shield’ continued its journey, beating many superstars in several six-men tag team matches. However, their run ended in 2014 when Triple H asked Rollins to attack his teammates and join ‘The Authority.’
Later in 2014, Rollins won the ‘Money in the Bank’ contract after Kane helped him defeat Ambrose in a ladder match.
Rollins took part in a triple threat match against John Cena and Brock Lesnar, which was won by Brock Lesnar. Rollins cashed his ‘Money in the Bank’ contract to convert a match between Lesnar and Reigns into a triple threat match and won the ‘World Heavyweight Championship’ by pinning Reigns.
He won the ‘United States Championship’ after defeating John Cena in August 2014. He became the first man to win both the titles simultaneously.
In November 2014, he suffered a knee injury and was asked to rest for six to eight months.
He made his comeback in a match against Reigns and won the ‘Heavyweight Championship’ title. However, he lost it minutes later to Ambrose in another match.
He had a feud with Triple H and Samoa Joe in early 2017.
He made his video game debut with ‘WWE 2K14.’ He was then featured in subsequent games, such as ‘2K15,’ ‘2K16,’ ‘2K17,’ and so on.
He made his film debut with ‘Sharknado: The 4th Awakens’ in 2016. In 2017, he lent his voice to ‘The Jetsons & WWE: Robo-WrestleMania!’ The same year, he played ‘Brett’ in John Stockwell's action-horror film ‘Armed Response.’
