Selly Bio

Selly created his self-titled Youtube channel in October 2011. His first video was titled “Selly's Vlog - 10 lucruri despre mine.” He is famous for his vlogs, Q&A content, and challenge videos, all of which have earned the attention of hundreds of thousands of viewers on Youtube. The most popular video on his channel is titled “5GANG - SOS (Official Video).” In 2017, he created the music group 5GANG and invited several big-time YouTubers such as Diana Condurache, Painutz, Mădălin Șerban, and Gami to become a part of the band. The group runs the channel, 5GANG, where they post official music videos of their songs along with behind-the-scenes videos and vlogs for their ever-increasing subscriber base.

Selly launched his second Youtube channel, Selly Show, in March 2020. He interviews popular celebrities and influential figures on his new channel. However, Selly has not posted any new content on the channel since December 2021.

In 2018, Andra Gogan released the song titled “Stricați o Generație “ which was seen as an apparent attack on Selly. Later, Selly responded to the song by saying that the song was a “diss-track.” In August 2020, România TV, a Romanian news television channel, reported that Selly was involved in a car accident with his Mercedes-Benz. However, Paginademedia.ro later discovered that this was fake news and soon after, Selly sued România TV for running misleading news against him.

Selly was born on February 28, 2001, in the city of Craiova, Romania. His father is a forest engineer while his mother is a teacher. During his childhood, Selly was fascinated by the internet and would spend a lot of time in front of computers. His zodiac sign is Pisces.

Selly has a critical view of the education and schooling system in Romania. In 2020, he invited the former education minister of Romania, Ecaterina Andronescu, on his channel to hold a debate on the flaws and problems of Romania’s education system. He previously tried to interview Monica Anisie but she turned down the invite.
