Sanket Mehta Bio

Sanket Mehta began his social media career by posting dance videos. He set up his YouTube channel on May 12, 2015, and posted the first video on the channel on February 22, 2017. Titled ‘Khaab || Akhil Ft Sanket Mehta || Lyrical || @sankett25 choreographed by @iirandeepsingh’, the video features Mehta dancing alongside Akhil to a popular Punjabi song. Despite having the channel for over three years, he is rarely active on the platform.

The oldest photograph on his Instagram account was posted on February 13, 2016. It was a picture of Mehta himself. The second oldest post, uploaded in April, is a video of him dancing to ‘Work from Home’ by Fifth Harmony (ft. Ty Dolla $ign). In the ensuing months, he has accumulated several hundred thousand followers on the app.

As a content creator and social media influencer, Mehta uses Instagram to share his videos. He does not restrict himself to put out his content exclusively on his primary social media platform, which is TikTok. Instead, he uses Instagram as well to release his dance and comedy videos.

Mehta is one of the most prominent Indian users on TikTok, the app which was previously known as musical.ly. A crowned user, he has millions of fans on it and has garnered tens of millions of hearts. As with Instagram, most of his posts on TikTok are either dance-related or comedy sketches. One of his most frequent collaborators on the app is Aashna Hegde, who has also appeared in his Instagram posts multiple times. He has also collaborated with the likes of Salvier Dmello, Heer Naik, and Manav Chhabra. In May 2018, he received an International Book of Records accolade for the maximum musical.lys (9) in two minutes. He had accomplished this record on November 22, 2017. Mehta is also active on Twitter and Facebook.

Mehta harbours acting aspirations. He has expressed his desire to be part of the Indian film industry someday. Since September 2017, he has been running a fashion blog on WordPress.

Sanket Mehta was born on January 25, 2000, in Amritsar, Punjab, India, to Shivani and Vishal Mehta. He has a sister named Chahat. There are rumours romantically linking him to Aashna Hegde but nothing has been confirmed or denied by either of them.
