Runik started his career in social media through YouTube. He created a channel titled Runiktv on February 24, 2015. On August 30, 2017, he uploaded the first video on the channel, 'Runik Cancer Journey (8-30-2017).' In 2017, Runik was diagnosed with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, a type of cancer. The treatment was expensive. Thus, he created a ‘GoFundMe’ campaign to collect funds for his chemotherapy sessions. Many popular YouTubers helped Runik raise funds for the treatment. Fortunately, Runik’s treatments showed results and he recovered. Runik is now cancer-free. He inaugurated his YouTube channel with a vlog on his experience of fighting cancer. The channel, however, now primarily hosts pranks, challenges, reaction videos, comedy videos, and vlogs. The video titled 'Lacing Trey PRANK on Ar’mon & FunnyMike *VERYFUNNY' is the most popular video of the channel and has earned over three million “views.” Other videos on the channel with millions of “views” are 'DRIVE THRU BOONK AND DASH PT2 WITH THE BAD KIDS!! *GOTFREEFOOD,' 'CUTTING HAIR OFF PRANK WITH THEBADKIDS,' 'I'M PREGNANT BY YOUR FRIEND PRANK!!
