Richard Wisker made his acting debut on October 15, 2008, in the guest role of Mason Kemble on the British police TV series ‘The Bill’. He played the part in the two-part episode ‘Hold Me Tight’. His performance was critically acclaimed leading to the role of Jono Blake in the crime drama ‘Law & Order: UK’, in 2009. Perhaps in his early career, he made his first breakthrough when he was cast in the ‘Doctor Who’ spin-off ‘The Sarah Jane Adventures’ (2010). He earned recognition for his acting alongside British icons like Elisabeth Sladen in the two ‘Lost in Time’ episodes.

As a result of his stellar performances, Richard Wisker landed his first major lead role on the TV series ‘Tracy Beaker Returns’ (2010-2012). He made his debut in the episode ‘Tracy Beaker Superstar’ which aired on January 8, 2010, and played Liam O'Donovan, a cheeky kid who loves playing pranks. In 2010, he was nominated for a children’s BAFTA for best actor. He reprised the role in the CBBC miniseries ‘Tracy Beaker Survival Files’ (2011–2012).

Richard Wisker tried his hands at presenting and became a co-presenter on the BAFTA award-winning children’s TV series ‘Friday Download’ (2011-2015). He also co-presented ‘All Over the Place’ (2012-2013), which featured him traveling to places all over the UK and participating in fun challenges. In 2012, Wisker made guest appearances on the shows ‘12 Again’ and ‘Jedward's Big Adventure’. He earned his second major role on the TV series ‘Dani’s Castle’ (2013–2015). He played the characters of Rich and Diego and was critically praised for his performances.

In 2014, he reprised his most famous role as Liam O'Donovan on a few webisodes of ‘The Dumping Ground: Liam's Story’ and in an episode of ‘The Dumping Ground’. The same year he also acted in an episode of the TV series ‘Casualty’.

He made his movie debut in 2015 with ‘Friday Download: The Movie’ which was released as ‘Up All Night’. He followed that up with a small role in the crime drama film ‘Rise of the Footsoldier Part II’, which was released in December 2015. In 2017, he became a part of the television sitcom ‘Millie Inbetween’. He played the role of ‘Declan’ and remained on the show until 2018.

In 2019, he reprised his role as Declan in the comedy-drama series ‘Flatmates’ created by Gary Parker, Steven Andrew, and Raymond Lau. The show completed its second season in 2021. Wisker will next be starring in his first lead movie role as Dean Harding in ‘Supernova.’

Besides being an actor, Richard Wisker is also an accomplished singer. In 2012, Richard Wisker released his first solo song ‘Broken’. The song was well received by his fans and since then he has since been releasing covers of his musical inspirations, like Micahel Jackson. Richard Wisker was born in Dagenham, England on February 1, 1995. Not much is known about his parents in the media except that they are proud of his achievements. He studied at Wanstead High School from 2006 until 2011. He is a very private person and has not revealed if he is dating anyone, although there were speculations about him dating actresses Amy-Leigh Hickman and Dani Harmer. In February 2023, he converted to Islam.
