Before Phillips’ birth, his parents refused an offer by the Queen, for the child to be born in peerage. Thus, he became the first child in the family, in more than 500 years, to be born without any courtesy titles. Phillips has a younger sister, Zara Tindall. He also has two half-sisters, Felicity Tonkin, and Stephanie Phillips.
Peter Phillips was raised at his family home in Gatcombe Park in Gloucestershire. He attended the ‘Port Regis Prep School’ for his early studies. Later, he joined the ‘Gordonstoun School,’ where other members of the royal family studied. He was the head boy at the school, and was also actively involved in sports.
