Saraya-Jade Bevis, better known as “Paige,” is an English professional wrestler and actor who is currently the on-screen general manager of ‘SmackDown.’ She belongs to a family of professional wrestlers that run the ‘World Association of Wrestling’ (WAW) promotion in Norwich. She teamed up with her mother in a triple-threat tag-team match for the ‘WAW’ and adopted the ring name “Britani Knight.” Later, she signed a contract with ‘World Wrestling Entertainment’ (WWE) and made her debut with ‘Florida Championship Wrestling’ (FCW), using the ring name “Saraya.” She then changed her name to “Paige” for her ‘FCW TV’ debut as part of a tag team with Sofia Cortez. Paige is the only woman to hold the ‘WWE Divas Championship’ title and the ‘NXT Women’s Champion’ title at the same time. She has held several other titles such as the ‘German Stampede Wrestling (GSW) Ladies Championship’ title, the ‘Premier Wrestling Federation (PWF) Ladies Tag Team Championship’ title, the ‘Pro-Wrestling: EVE Championship’ title, and the ‘Real Quality Wrestling (RQW) Women’s Championship’ title. She has also appeared in the TV series ‘The Wrestlers: Fighting with My Family,’ ‘WWE Tough Enough,’ and ‘Total Divas.’ She has been part of films such as ‘Scooby-Doo! And WWE: Curse of the Speed Demon.’ She owns a clothing store and is presently dating Kalan Blehm of the band ‘Attila.’ Paige may have retired from wrestling, but has a bright future ahead of her.

Childhood & Early Life
Paige was born Saraya-Jade Bevis, on August 17, 1992, in Norwich, Norfolk, England, to Ricky Knight and Sweet Saraya. Her parents run a bar and were both professional wrestlers. She has a brother named Zak Zodiac and a half-brother named Roy Bevis, who are also professional wrestlers.
She studied at ‘The Hewett School’ in Norwich, from where she graduated in 2008. As a child, she did not want pursue wrestling as a career option and wanted to become a zoologist instead. However, due to wrestling being an active part of her family, she fought her debut bout at the age of 13, when her father made her replace a wrestler who had not turned up.
By the time she was 14, she participated in several wrestling promotional events in Europe and the US. She entered singles championships without much success and also competed in the ‘World Wide Wrestling League’ (W3L) women’s title, where she lost in the finals to Sara. She also worked as a bartender and a bouncer at her parents’ bar at the age of 15.

Career
She adopted the ring name “Britani Knight” in April 2006 and teamed up with her mother in a triple-threat tag-team match for the ‘WAW.’ She then joined the tag-team ‘Norfolk Dolls’ that won the new ‘World Association of Women’s Wrestling (WAWW) Tag Team Championship’ in June 2007. She also participated in the ‘WAWW British Championship,’ where she lost to Jetta in the finals.
In 2009, she defeated her mother, Sweet Saraya, in the ‘Herts and Essex (HEW) Women’s Championship,’ the ‘WAWW British Championship,’ and the ‘Real Deal Wrestling (RDW) Women’s Championship.’ She also defeated her rival Jetta in a ‘Champion vs. Champion’ match that year.
She teamed up with her mother and defeated Amazon and Ananya in the ‘PWF Ladies Tag Team Championship’ in 2010. Later in the year, she lost her ‘HEW’ women’s title to her mother, only to regain it from her in 2011. She also won the ‘GSW Ladies Championship,’ the ‘Pro-Wrestling: EVE Championship,’ and the ‘WAWW Hardcore Championship’ that year.
She teamed up with her mother and participated in a number of tag-team championships in the latter half of 2011 but faced repeated defeat. This created a certain amount of tension between her and her mother. They subsequently challenged each other to a match where she defeated her mother under no disqualification rules.
She signed a contract with ‘WWE’ and made her debut at the ‘Florida Championship Wrestling’ (FCW) house show in January 2012, using the ring name “Saraya.” She then changed her name to “Paige” for her ‘FCW TV’ debut in February 2012 and made her debut in the ring as part of a tag-team with Sofia Cortez. The duo briefly associated with Rick Victor in a few mixed tag-team matches and parted ways by the end of the year.
When ‘FCW’ got rebranded as ‘NXT,’ Paige made her debut in the third episode, where she lost to Cortez. She made a comeback by September 2012, defeating Alicia Fox, Audrey Marie, and Sasha Banks. In 2013, she had a prolonged feud with Summer Rae and defeated her in a singles match, despite a shoulder injury. She then became the ‘NXT Women’s Champion’ that year. She finally vacated her title after being elevated to the main roster and winning the ‘Divas Championship’ in 2014.
At 21, she became the youngest wrestler to win the ‘Divas Championship’ and the only woman to hold the ‘NXT Woman’s Champion’ title simultaneously. She had several bouts to defend her title and became a fan favorite in January 2015.
From 2015 to 2016, she fought wrestlers such as Alicia Fox, Charlotte, and Becky Lynch. She had many wins and defeats and also suffered a few injuries. In 2016, she was suspended for 30 days for violating wellness policies. She was also charged with using illegal substances.
She finally returned to the ring in 2017 after a neck surgery. In December that year, she suffered another major neck injury in a six-woman tag-team match, due to which the referee had to stop the match. Following this, she officially retired from wrestling.

She was engaged to guitarist Kevin Skaff in early 2016. She got engaged to wrestler José Rodríguez in October 2016, only to split the following year. She is currently dating Kalan Blehm of the band ‘Attila.’
